Chosen from thousands of individual entries, Finalists for the Foreword INDIES represent some of the best books from non-Big 5 publishers and authors.
Finalists were chosen by Foreword’s top three editors and are now off for final judging by their panel of 120 librarians and booksellers, each expert in their field. Winners will be announced live on June 24 from the 2017 American Library Association Annual Conference in Chicago (June 22-27).
Whether you're a lover of books, librarian, or a bookseller, you know that independent presses and authors are publishing some of the most innovative, creative, and beautiful books. To honor the very best of indie publishing each year, Foreword INDIES created the Book of the Year Awards!
Thousands of books are entered each year, and their panel of over 120 librarians and booksellers take part in the judging, narrowing it down to a group of finalists and winners that represent the best books, all independently published, in over 60 categories.
Wish the book luck and success in the judging process.
You can now recommend it with more confidence to your friends, family and business associates.
And you can be sure that it WILL be an important tool to improve well-being, health and effectiveness on the job and at home.
Your very excited and grateful stress elimination expert,
Fred George Sauer
Today I am starting out with a very personal question. Why do I work in the area of stress and stress reduction?
The answer is simple.
I used to be a highly stressed person.
I had to struggle with the effects of deep stress my whole life.
This was until about a dozen years ago when I ran into some new techniques.
I actually call it a "human technology". Why that? Because it is a complete set of techniques and methods, but it is also totally natural and uses no gadgets or chemicals. It really helped me reduce stress faster and more thoroughly than anything I had tried before.
Therefore it is now my passion to study, teach and coach people in this new, powerful and unbelievably fast acting technology.
The reason I was a highly stressed person was that I spent my early childhood
in a war zone, in Germany during World War II.

My hometown, Kaiserslautern, was bombed regularly. This is how it looked at the end of the war! I was then just 4 years old.
